More than 500 students from highschool, their teachers and guidance counselors from the Montreal area are expected to participate in activities that aim to arouse young people's interest in technology programs and careers.

In partnership with TECHNOCompétences and with the financial assistance of the Conseil Emploi Métropole, TechnoMontréal organizes three events for high school students in Montreal, Laval, and Longueuil. These events are designed to deliver a positive experience, inspire the next generation in an industry that requires a specialized labour force, and in particular to connect with young women in order to increase their representation in the tech industry.

Teknotek Montréal brought together nearly 500 students in Secondary III to V from the Montreal area, as well as their teachers and guidance counsellors, to participate in activities designed to spark interest in technology programs and careers. These included a village of exhibitors (tech companies, universities, and support and guidance organizations) and inspiring lectures by young technology professionals.
