The Innovation Working Group had its start in 2007 to facilitate the bringing together of various ICT industry players, while establishing strategic partners and structuring projects.

As of 2016, it now aims to increase the transformational impact of ICTs on each of the city’s strategic markets: health, transportation, etc.
This working group concentrates its efforts on the evolution of disruptive technologies (big data, the Internet of Things, cloud computing) and continuity technologies (5G, 3D printing, etc.) in a way that will transform the business models of the four markets prioritized by the cluster. Through these areas of involvement, this working group is responsible for establishing the cluster’s vision of innovation.

The Innovation Working Group coordinates strategic groups for each market, connecting ICT businesses with the city’s leaders and contractors. Together, these players identify challenges and work towards solutions that will create benefits for the entire industry.
